Becoming Friends

A series of meetings where you can find out more about quakers, share what you have experienced in quakers so far, reflect, hear and learn from others.

Plans have been made for a new Becoming Friends group to meet from mid- September 2019 until mid- February 2020. There will be 9 meetings in all, always on a Wednesday evening, at Redland Meeting House. (Please ignore August article mentioning Thursdays!). In recent groups we have had a mix of participants from different meetings in the Area and beyond, and this has added to the richness of our learning. Becoming Friends is particularly suitable for those relatively new to Quakers, but we always welcome those who want to refresh their understanding through sharing with others.

The dates are 25/9, 9/10, 23/10, 13/11, 27/11,15/1, 22/1, 12/2, and 26/2. We have quite a tradition of a shared meal or something similar for the last session.
