Meetings for Learning are held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, in the Meeting House upstairs library. They start at 10.00 prompt, and end at 10.45 so Friends can then go to Meeting for Worship.
Subjects vary but all relate in some way to being a Quaker in the 21st century. Everyone is welcome. Just turn up in time for a 10am start, prepared to be stimulated, challenged or informed – or all three!

Make Votes Matter – exploring how a proportional democracy would help foster peace and social justice
This session will be led by Klina Jordan from Make Votes Matter (www.makevotesmatter.org.uk) who will outline how Proportional Representation leads to better social, environmental, economic and political outcomes than our current First-Past-The-Post system. We will then explore how this relates to our Quaker values.
Suggestions for future topics are welcome.
