10am-3pm, Saturday 8 June 2019
Bristol Central Meeting House, Champion Square, Bristol, BS2 9DB
We are looking for more volunteers to support local youth events.
We’re calling all artists/activists/politicians/scientists and anyone who likes being alongside young people. Come and think about how your skills and experience could support the next generation.
There is no obligation to commit to volunteer regularly. There will be a sign up sheet with upcoming opportunities.
The day will look at:
- Quaker approaches to being alongside young people
- Fun and interactive ways of working
- Safeguarding and good youth work practice
- An opportunity to identify individual’s skills/experience
An opportunity to connect with other interested Quakers across Bristol, North Somerset and West Wiltshire and East Somerset Area Meetings.
A free vegetarian lunch and morning snacks.
How to sign up?
Contact Kirsty, one of the Youth Workers on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07849 803493. Please include any dietary requirements.
Local meetings and Area Meetings have funds available to support work with Children & Young People, so your travel can be reimbursed.
