About the Redland Admin Hub
The Admin Hub is one of four Hubs at Redland Local Meeting (LM) through which the work of the meeting is carried out. (The others are Learning and Action, Faith Community and Resources).
Admin’s main responsibilities are to do with making information about Redland available and keeping it up to date, and organising our local business meetings.
We maintain a basic database of members and attenders at Redland, from which we generate a contact list from time to time. We use the database to send out annual invitations to Friends to contribute financially to the work of our local meeting, Bristol Area Meeting, and Britain Yearly Meeting. We keep track of who’s in which sharing circle, and publish the current membership of the circles every few months.
We are responsible for maintaining and developing the Redland LM website, though content for the site comes from all quarters.
The Clerk and Assistant Clerk are part of this Hub. They organise and conduct our local meetings for business, write the minutes of them, and follow up agreed actions.
