at City Hall, 9th February 2019, 9.30am–3.30pm
An event for all Christian groupings in Bristol to explore how we can work together on sustainability — and why it is part of our faith. This day aims to inspire and encourage action for a sustainable and hopeful world, to overcome the common narrative of division and fear.
There is a need for fundamental changes to the way societies and lifestyles are shaped if we are to provide for a just and sustainable future. The focus will be on positive empowerment and what we can do together.
We hope as many Quakers as possible will come and contribute — one of the main plenary sessions is being led by local Quakers and Catholics jointly — using silence to explore our own role.
If you can help promote the event we have a Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/2194045300877473/
Please book your free place on the day at: https://festivaloftransformation.eventbrite.co.uk/
(This is just so we know numbers for laying out chairs and organising catering).
