Poem: Mirror of Sorrow

My tears I shed engraved grief on my face

My worries are hard to bear

My worries made/make me heavy

Very heavy.. my feet

Very heavy.. my steps in that road

A road of grief.

My past memories have not left me

Have not left my mind in peace

I wish I could do

To sleep my night with closed eyes

As a small child for a short while

As a child who does not know the road of sorrow

And the grief does not walk in my road

I am still heavy with my worries from losing more

As a tree when losing its leaves

Autumn coloured my world with gloom

I am afraid of losing more, afraid to see my face, my future, my fate

In this mirror

The mirror of sorrow.
