The Refugee Crisis: a View from Europe

Molly Scott CatoMEP for the South West
Imogen McIntosh: Aid Box Community Hub

at Redland Quaker Meeting House
Saturday 23rd June, 7pm – 9.15 pm

UK policy on immigration and asylum is increasingly hostile and entrenched. Looking at a wider European context, what can we learn to help us promote a positive response to refugees?

Molly Scott Cato will share her experience of thinking in Europe on migration issues from her work as an MEP.  Imogen McIntosh has spent many months in Calais and is  developing the Aid Box Community Hub to provide practical and emotional support to sanctuary seekers after long and traumatic journeys.

At the meeting, information will be available about local action in solidarity with refugees travelling through Europe, including those who have made the journey to Bristol.
